Istanbul to the Aegean: We start early with a quick flight to Izmir. Once you land, we’ll head straight to Selcuk to dive into history.
Walking with the Ancients: You’ll explore the grand marble streets of Ephesus, see the iconic Celsus Library, and visit the House of the Virgin Mary. Before we head to our hotel in Kusadasi, we’ll stop at the remains of the Temple of Artemis—once a Wonder of the Ancient World.
Pamukkale’s Magic: Today we drive to the famous white travertines. You’ll have the chance to take your shoes off and walk through the warm, mineral-rich waters.
Ancient Spas: We’ll explore the ruins of Hierapolis and its massive Necropolis. If you’re in the mood, you can even swim among Roman columns in Cleopatra’s Antique Pool. In the evening, we’ll make our way through the mountains to Antalya.
The Best of Rome: We visit Perge, a massive ancient city, and then head to Aspendos to stand in what is arguably the best-preserved Roman theater on earth.
Sun & Water: We’ll explore the seaside ruins of Side and finish the day feeling the refreshing mist of the Manavgat Waterfalls before returning to the city.
Your Day, Your Pace: Antalya is too beautiful to rush. Today is yours to enjoy. You can wander the narrow, Ottoman-era streets of Kaleici (the Old Town), grab a coffee by the ancient harbor, or simply relax on a turquoise beach.
Off to Cappadocia: We’ll get you to the airport for your flight to the heart of Anatolia. Once you arrive in Cappadocia, you’ll feel the atmosphere change instantly. We’ll get you settled into your hotel so you’re ready for the magic tomorrow.
Rock-Cut History: (The sunrise balloon flight is an optional but must-do here!). We’ll explore the Goreme Open-Air Museum with its 1,000-year-old frescoes and visit Uchisar Castle for the best view in the region.
Monks & Potters: We’ll wander through the mushroom-shaped rocks of Pasabag and find strange animal shapes in Devrent Valley before watching master potters at work in Avanos.
Hidden Cities: We’ll descend into Kaymakli Underground City, a fascinating labyrinth used by early Christians for safety.
Into the Valleys: We’ll take a scenic 4-km hike through Red Valley and finish our exploration at the pillar-shaped formations of Love Valley and the historic Pigeon Valley.
The Final Leg: After one last Cappadocian breakfast, we’ll get you to the airport for your flight back to Istanbul. We’ll be waiting there to drive you safely back to your hotel, concluding an epic 8-day journey.
