Pick-up (09:30): We’ll collect you directly from your hotel in Pamukkale or Karahayit. Starting mid-morning gives you a relaxed start to your day while still beating the largest midday crowds.
Karahayit (The Red Water): Our first stop is just a few kilometers away. You’ll see the colorful thermal springs of Karahayit, known for their high iron content and therapeutic properties. It’s a great introduction to the area’s unique geology.
Ancient Hierapolis: We’ll spend a few hours exploring the ruins. You’ll see the Roman Baths, the Domitian Gate, and the Plutonium. Your guide will lead you to the Grand Theater, which is carved into the hillside and offers one of the best views in the park. We also visit the Martyrium of St. Philip, a site of great significance for early Christian history.
Cleopatra’s Antique Pool: After exploring the ancient streets, we’ll take a break at the famous Antique Pool. It is a truly remarkable spot where you can relax under the trees or choose to swim in the naturally warm, mineral-rich waters. The most unique part is the original Roman columns sitting at the bottom of the pool—they fell in during an earthquake centuries ago, and now you can literally swim over history. It’s a great place to recharge before we head down to the terraces.
The White Travertines: This is the part everyone waits for. You’ll take your shoes off and walk down the white terraces from top to bottom. The thermal water is warm and mineral-rich, and you’ll have plenty of time for photos and to simply enjoy the view.
Lunch & Free Time: A delicious lunch at a local restaurant is included. You’ll also have about 45 minutes of free time to relax by the Antique Pool (Cleopatra’s Pool) or wander around the park at your own pace.
Return (16:00): After a full day of history and natural beauty, we’ll drive you back to your hotel, leaving you with a treasure trove of memories.
