Welcome: We’ll meet you at the airport and get you settled in.
The Dinner Cruise: We start with a Bosphorus Dinner Cruise. It’s the perfect way to see Istanbul’s palaces and bridges glowing at night while enjoying a traditional meal and music.
To the Aegean: We fly to Izmir early and head straight to Ephesus. You’ll walk the same marble paths as the ancients and see the iconic Library of Celsus.
Sacred Stops: We also visit the House of the Virgin Mary and the site of the Temple of Artemis before spending the night in the seaside town of Kusadasi.
Cotton Castle: After a scenic drive, you’ll reach Pamukkale. Walk barefoot on the white travertines and explore the ancient spa city of Hierapolis.
Relax: You can even take a dip in Cleopatra’s Antique Pool before checking into your hotel in Pamukkale for the night.
Sufi Wisdom: We drive to Konya to visit the Mevlana Museum, the home of the poet Rumi. On our way to Cappadocia, we’ll stop at a centuries-old Caravanserai, where Silk Road traders once rested.
Rock-Cut Treasures: (Optional: Sunrise Balloon Flight). We visit the Goreme Open Air Museum with its ancient frescoes, explore Uchisar Castle, and wander through the mushroom-shaped chimneys of Pasabag.
Into the Labyrinth: We descend into Kaymakli Underground City, a fascinating multi-level settlement used by early Christians.
Valleys: We’ll hike through Red Valley and see the pillar-shaped formations of Love Valley before returning to our cave hotel.
The Long Road: We travel along the historic Silk Road, stopping at the Karatayhan Caravanserai.
Sweet Stop: We’ll stop in Kahramanmaras to try their world-famous, chewy Maras ice cream before arriving in Kahta (Adiyaman) for the night.
A Giant Sunrise: We climb Mount Nemrut early to watch the sunrise among the massive stone heads of gods and kings.
Prophetic History: After visiting Arsemia Castle, we drive to Sanliurfa to see Abraham’s Pool and the ancient beehive houses of Harran. Overnight in Urfa.
Zero Point in Time: We visit Gobeklitepe, the world’s oldest known temple.
Masterpieces: We then head to Gaziantep to see the incredible Zeugma Mosaic Museum before driving back across the Taurus Mountains for one last night in Cappadocia.
Free Morning: Enjoy a quiet morning in the valleys before your flight back to Istanbul. We’ll be at the airport to take you back to your hotel for some well-deserved rest.
The Imperial Heart: A full day covering the “Big Five”: Hagia Sophia, the Blue Mosque, Topkapi Palace, the Basilica Cistern, and the Grand Bazaar.
Farewell: After breakfast, we’ll drive you to the airport for your flight home, concluding an epic 12-day expedition across the whole of Turkey.
