What to Expect: You’ll leave the bustle of Istanbul early in the morning and arrive in the heart of the Denizli region. Your day will be spent exploring the ancient healing center of Hierapolis and walking barefoot through the world-famous white travertine pools. We also include a visit to the red thermal springs of Karahayit and a traditional local lunch. It’s a fast-paced but rewarding day that covers one of Turkey’s most iconic landscapes without needing an overnight stay.

Early Start & Flight: We’ll pick you up from your Istanbul hotel early in the morning and drive you to the airport (either Istanbul Airport or Sabiha Gokcen). You’ll catch a short domestic flight to Denizli Cardak Airport.

Airport Welcome: Once you land in Denizli, our team will be waiting for you at the exit with a name board. We’ll drive you straight to the site to meet your guide and start the adventure.

Ancient Hierapolis: Our first major stop is the ancient city. You’ll walk through the Necropolis, see the Roman Baths, and explore the grand Theater. Your guide will share the stories of the Martyrium of St. Philip and explain how this city became a famous Roman spa retreat.

Cleopatra’s Antique Pool: After exploring the ruins, we’ll take a break at the Antique Pool area. You can see the original Roman columns submerged in the warm thermal water and enjoy the relaxed atmosphere of this historic spot.

Walking the Travertines: This is the highlight of the day. You’ll take your shoes off and walk barefoot through the warm, mineral-rich water on the white terraces. It’s the perfect time to capture those iconic photos of the “Cotton Castle.”

Lunch & Karahayit: After working up an appetite, we’ll enjoy a traditional local lunch. Before heading back, we’ll make a final stop at Karahayit to see the red-colored thermal springs, which offer a striking contrast to the white cliffs of Pamukkale.

Evening Return: Around 16:00, we’ll drive you back to Denizli Cardak Airport for your flight back to Istanbul. When you land, our driver will be there to meet you and take you safely back to your hotel.
