Pick-up from Antalya (08:00): We’ll meet you at your hotel. Instead of a big bus making twenty stops for other passengers, it’s just you and your group. The drive through the mountains is actually quite nice and gives you a look at the rural side of Turkey.
Arrival & Lunch: When we get to Pamukkale, we’ll take a break for lunch. We prefer local spots where you can get a real taste of the region’s food. Since this is private, you decide how long you want to eat.
Exploring Hierapolis Ancient City: We’ll walk through the Necropolis (one of the best-preserved ancient cemeteries in the country) and head toward the Theater. Your guide will tell you the stories behind the stones, so the ruins actually start to make sense.
Cleopatra’s Antique Pool: After walking through the ancient streets, we’ll stop at the Antique Pool. It’s a warm, mineral-rich pool filled with original Roman columns that fell in during an earthquake. You can swim here (it’s an extra fee at the gate) or just sit in the shade and enjoy the atmosphere.
Walking the Travertines: We save the best for last. You’ll take your shoes off and walk barefoot through the warm, flowing water on the white terraces. It’s a strange and amazing feeling, and definitely the best spot for photos.
Return Journey (16:00): After you’ve seen everything, we’ll start the drive back to Antalya. You can nap in the back of the minivan and we’ll get you back to your hotel in time for dinner around 19:00.
