The Book of Revelations contains the prophecies of the last days. At the very begininning, John the Apostle, addresses the Seven Churches in Asia Minor in seven letters which are proclaimed by Jesus and recorded by him. These churches are Ephesus, Smyrna, Pergamon, Thyatira, Sardes, Philadelphia and Laodicea.These seven churches are located in modern day Turkey today.
With our tour of the Seven Churches of Revelations, you can visit and see the remains of these churches and more historical and biblical sites around them.

4 Days tour of Turkey visiting Seven Churches addressed in the Book of Revelations. Tour starts from Denizli Airport, visits Pamukkale, Hierapolis, Laodicea, Philadelphia, Sardis, Thyatira, Pergamon, Smyrna, Ephesus, Virgin Mary’s House, Basilica of St. John, Artemis Temple.

Day 1: Pamukkale and Hierapolis Tour- Laodicea Tour (Lunch)

• Pick up from Denizli Airport and drive to Pamukkale to start our tour.
• We will visit Hierapolis Antique City and see Martydom of St. Philip as well as Necropolis, Roman Bahts, Domitian Gate, Latrina, Oil Factory, Frontinious Street, Agora, Byzantium Gate, Triton Fountain, Cathedral, Apollon Temple, Plutonium, Theater, and  Antique Pool.
• After Hierapolis, we will walk down to Pamukkale and spend time on white pools of Pamukkale. You can relax in hot waters of Pamukkale, take photos and enjoy this natural wonder.
• We will have lunch in a local resturant.
• After lunch, we will drive to Laodicea, one of the Seven Churches. The church chastised for being lukewarm, “You are neither cold nor hot” and for being too comfortable incorporating pagan and Christian beliefs. We will see Council Building, Stadium, and Gymnasium, Monumental nymphaeum, Zeus Temple, Small and large theatres.
• After tour, we will drive to Pamukkale, check into our hotel and overnight in Pamukkale.

Day 2: Philadelphia, Sardis, Thyatira (Breakfast – Lunch)

• We will pick you up from your hotel after breakfast. We will drive to Philadelphia and visit Philadelphia Church where the faithful congregation suffered much and was praised by St. John and known as steadfast in faith, keeping God’s word and enduring patiently.
• From Philadelphia, we will drive to Sardis called as , “the dead church”,admonished for – in contrast to its good reputation – being dead; cautioned to fortify itself and return to God through repentance  in the book of revelations. We will visit Gymnasium, Artemis Temple, Synagogue and the Church of Sardis.
• Afterwards we will visit the Church of Thyatira known as “the adulterous church” that, as mentioned in the Revelations, tolerated the false prophet, Jezebel.
• After Thyatira we will drive to Bergama. Overnight in Bergama.

Day 3: Pergamon Tour (Breakfast – Lunch)

• We will pick you up from your hotel after breakfast. We will drive to Pergamon also known as “the compromising church” and ” where the satans throne” which is a reference to Zeus Altar.
• In Pergamon, we will visit  Acropolis, Library, Zeus Altar, Asklepion and Red Basilica.
• We will have lunch in a local restaurant and drive to Izmir
• We will visit Smyrna also known as “suffering church” We will visit Agora and St. Polycarp Church.
• We will drive you to your hotel. Check into the hotel and overnight in Izmir.

        Pergamon Biblical Reference – Revelation: 2:12-17

Day 4: Ephesus Tour (Breakfast – Lunch)

• We will pick you up from your hotel after breakfast. We will drive to Ephesus, known for having labored hard and not fainted, and separating themselves from the wicked; admonished for having forsaken its first love. We will see Celsus Library, Marble Streets, Odeon, Trajan Fountain, Domitian Gate, Temple of Hadrian and the great Theatre where St. Paul preached and was attacked by the hostile crowd.
• We will visit Virgin Mary’s House where Mother Mary’s lived after she traveled to Ephesus from Jerusalem after the crucifixation of Jesus.
• Also we will visit Artemis Temple, one of Seven Wonders of the ancient world and Basilica of St. John.
• After the tour we will drive you to Izmir Airport for your flight back Istanbul.
