Salda Lake and Sagalassos Antique City Tour Details
Salda Lake is a crater lake in southwestern in Turkey. Salda Lake is famous with white sandy beach, white magnesium rocks and many shades of blue you can see in mineral rich waters. Some people call it ” Turkish Maldives” or some call it is a martian lake because it looks like a lake photographed on mars surface. You can take beautiful photos, since it is one of the most instagrammed places in Turkey. Maybe relax on the beach or explore the rich nature around the lake. Salda Lake is a perfect place to spend a few hours.
Sagalassos is built high in the Taurus mountains. The city lived its golden age in Roman era. The soil is very fertile in the area and there are rich clay deposits. Sagalassos was famous with potteries which are very on demand. With abundant sources, Sagalassos was a wealthy city and a metropolis. The city is almost completely reserved and today you can still see the mighty city, great fountains and other buildings from its golden age.
